Continuous heavy rainfall in two areas of South Africa has caused flooding, resulting in 31 deaths.

Journalists learned that on January 17, local time, the governments of Limpopo Province and Mpumalanga Province in South Africa reported that the recent heavy rainfall had caused floods that had resulted in at least 31 deaths. Among them, Limpopo Province confirmed 11 deaths, including a 5-year-old child, and Mpumalanga Province confirmed 20 deaths.
