Greenland has established a temporary military zone for storing military equipment.
On January 17th, local time, the autonomous government police in Greenland approved the establishment of a temporary military zone in the outskirts of the capital, Nuuk, for storing military equipment. At 4:00 p.m. on the 17th, the police set up a cordon in the outskirts of Nuuk, as the military will store equipment there. The area is currently being used as a warehouse and some containers and other items have already been stored. The police will also erect fences and clear signs in the area to indicate it is a military zone. There will be security personnel patrolling continuously, and unauthorized individuals are not allowed to enter the restricted area.
