Henan Province Meteorological Bureau issued a yellow snowstorm warning at 11:00 on January 18, 2026: It is expected that from 08:00 on the 19th to 08:00 on the 20th, most areas along and south of the Yellow River will experience snowfall of more than 5 millimeters. Sanmenxia, Luoyang, southern Zhengzhou, southwestern Kaifeng, southern Shangqiu, Xuchang, Pingdingshan, Luohe, Zhoukou, Nanyang, Zhumadian, and some counties in Xinyang will experience snowfall of more than 10 millimeters. Among them, the southeastern part of Pingdingshan, the southeastern part of Nanyang, the western part of Zhumadian, and the western part of Xinyang may experience more than 20 millimeters of snowfall.
