Starting from January 5th, 2026, the childcare subsidy has been fully open for application; following the relaxation of the age limit for civil service exams, various provinces have also broken the "35-year-old threshold" for provincial exams; building on the 21-year consecutive increase in pensions in China, the basic pension standards for urban and rural residents will continue to be raised in 2026... a series of practical measures invested in people are intensively implemented, precisely targeted, making the general population feel more fulfilled, secure, and sustainable. The population is the main body of social development, and also a key variable affecting sustainable economic development. With a basic population of over 1.4 billion, the annual increase in urban employment remains stable at over 12 million people, with a population exceeding 240 million people with a university education level, and an average education level of over 14 years for the newly added labor force... the significance of these numbers is not just evident on paper, but when integrated into the national development process, it provides the foundation and confidence for China's modernization through high-quality population development.
