Residents in southern Yemen hold a rally to express their stance on political issues in the south.

In the evening of the 16th local time, people from various areas in southern Yemen gathered at the "Exhibition Square" in Aden to participate in a rally organized by the Southern Transitional Council. Participants held up slogans expressing their demands for the future political arrangements in the south and opposing the dissolution of the Southern Transitional Council. The Yemeni government deployed a large number of security forces at the scene, and the overall order was manageable.
