An Indonesian small aircraft has gone missing with 11 people on board.

On January 17th local time, according to the Indonesian National Search and Rescue Agency, a small plane flying from Yogyakarta to Makassar, South Sulawesi Province, lost contact during the flight. The location of the incident is near Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province. The plane, an ATR 400 belonging to an Indonesian transportation company, lost contact with the ground at around 13:17 local time on the 17th, with a total of 11 people on board. Currently, relevant authorities have begun further verification and response efforts, and the Indonesian National Search and Rescue Agency has initiated a search and rescue mission.
