According to the Hainan Provincial Ocean Department, the ocean economy of Hainan Province continues to show strong growth momentum. Preliminary estimates indicate that the marine gross domestic product of Hainan Province will increase by 7.9% in 2025 compared to the previous year, continuing to play a key role as the "ballast" and "propeller" of the province's economic growth. This year, Hainan Province will actively plan to promote the construction of tropical marine national parks, create a deep-sea technology innovation source, a modern marine industry gathering place, and a highland for international marine cooperation.
