The owner of a duck shop in Zhoukou died of a cerebral hemorrhage after arguing with urban management personnel? Official notification.
Recently, it was rumored on the internet that the owner of a duck shop in Zhoukou had a cerebral hemorrhage and died after arguing with urban management officers. The family questioned the improper law enforcement of the urban management officers, sparking social attention. On the evening of January 16th, the joint investigation team of Chuanhui District in Zhoukou City, Henan Province, reported on the investigation: After the opening of "Lao Zhu Duck Shop" on September 3, 2025, urban management officers found issues such as "too many stoves, insufficient exhaust fan power, and mismatched equipment" during routine inspections and repeatedly requested rectification. On December 24, 2025, at 11:36 am, two members of the urban management squadron of Xiaoqiao Street in Chuanhui District conducted another routine inspection of the shop and found that the issues had not been rectified. They verbally informed and advised the owner, and left the shop at 11:41 am. There was no physical conflict or the use of excessive language between the urban management officers and Zhu Junfeng according to the indoor and outdoor surveillance footage. After the urban management officers left, at around 11:50 am, Zhu Junfeng suddenly felt unwell. His family immediately called 120 and took him to the hospital for emergency treatment. The emergency medical records showed that Zhu Junfeng had a history of hypertension, and a head CT scan indicated cerebral hemorrhage. He passed away on the early morning of December 27th due to ineffective treatment.
