Federal Express Corporation: Has submitted a registration statement for the spin-off of its freight business.

On January 16th, Federal Express announced that it has submitted Form 10 registration statement to the Securities and Exchange Commission for the planned spin-off of its FedEx Freight business, with the process expected to be completed by June 1, 2026. After the spin-off, FedEx Freight will become the largest less-than-truckload freight carrier in North America. The spin-off is aimed at achieving a tax-free reorganization for Federal Express and its shareholders.
