Recently, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, and the National Development and Reform Commission have issued the "Work Plan for the Establishment of National Agricultural Modernization Demonstration Zones", deploying the work of creating demonstration zones and clarifying the overall requirements, creation goals, creation tasks, work procedures, and other contents. The "plan" proposes that the cumulative number of recognized demonstration zones created by 2030 should not exceed 500. The key areas for construction include grain industry, animal husbandry, advantageous specialty industries, smart agriculture, urban agriculture, and dryland agriculture, promoting the demonstration zones with conditions to achieve agricultural modernization first, forming a key breakthrough and incremental construction pattern.
