A US F-35A fighter jet is missing on the coast of Japan.

According to reference news, data from the flight tracking website "24-hour Flight Radar" shows that a US Air Force F-35A fighter jet sent out a distress signal near the sea area of Aomori City in Japan, and then disappeared from radar. The Lockheed Martin-produced F-35A "Lightning II" fighter jet took off from the northern part of the Sea of Japan, flew east over the land south of Aomori, and then headed northeast. Around 6:09 AM Moscow time, the aircraft disappeared from radar.
