According to CCTV news, on January 16, a container train full of Pu'er coffee beans from Pu'er City, Yunnan Province departed from the Ning'er Station of the China-Laos Railway, heading to the front station located in Xiamen, Fujian Province, marking the official operation of the first train of coffee bean freight train on the China-Laos Railway. In the afternoon of that day, the first train of coffee bean freight train on the China-Laos Railway slowly started, with 22 containers carrying 682 tons of Pu'er coffee beans, heading to deep processing factories in Xiamen, Ningde, and other places in Fujian. The whole journey of 2834 kilometers can be completed in 3 days, compressing the transportation time by 4 days compared to previous transportation methods.
