Longdian's entry into Shandong engineering project reaches full power operation for the first time, and the daily power transmission volume reaches a new high.

Journalists learned from the State Grid Gansu Provincial Power Company that the Longdong to Shandong 800 kV ultra-high voltage direct current transmission project recently achieved full power operation for the first time, with a single-day outbound electricity volume of 1.42 billion kilowatt-hours, reaching the highest level since it was put into operation. Liu Bingbing, deputy station manager of the Qingyang converter station of the Longdong to Shandong 800 kV transmission project, explained that since the beginning of winter, the load of the power grid in the East China region has been continuously increasing. From December 23, 2025 to January 14, 2026, the Longdong to Shandong transmission project has consecutively transmitted more than 1 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity per day for 23 days.
