The Ministry of Emergency Management releases the national natural disaster situation for 2025.

Recently, the Office of the National Committee for Disaster Reduction, along with relevant member units, conducted a consultation and analysis on the natural disaster situation in China in 2025. In 2025, the main natural disasters in China were floods, geological disasters, earthquakes, typhoons, hailstorms, droughts, freezing and snow disasters, sandstorms, forest grassland fires, marine disasters, and biological disasters. Throughout the year, various natural disasters affected 67.03 million people to varying degrees, with 763 deaths or disappearances, 3.6292 million people requiring emergency relocation and urgent life assistance; 57,000 houses collapsed and 709,000 houses were damaged; 606.94 thousand hectares of crops were affected, resulting in a direct economic loss of 241.617 billion yuan.
