Ministry of Ecology and Environment: Promoting more waste power batteries to flow into formal recycling and utilization enterprises.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology held a press conference today to introduce the interim measures for the management of recycling and comprehensive utilization of waste power batteries for new energy vehicles. Wen Xuefeng, Deputy Director of the Solid Waste and Chemical Management Division of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, stated that they will continue to strengthen regular law enforcement supervision of dismantling and processing enterprises, crack down on environmental violations, and continue to include illegal dismantling and disposal activities in the special campaign against illegal dumping and disposal of solid waste. This will promote more waste power batteries to flow into regular recycling and utilization enterprises, facilitating the circulation of resources.
