On the 15th, the United States Northern Command announced the establishment of the "Golden Joint Task Force" to strengthen the integration and coordination capabilities of the comprehensive air defense and missile defense system on American soil. The United States Northern Command stated on social media that the "Golden Joint Task Force" is commanded by Major General Shawn Ganey and is stationed at Peterson Space Force Base, co-located with the United States Army Space and Missile Defense Command. On the same day, the United States Northern Command also announced that the newly formed Joint Interagency Counter-Narcotics Task Force is working with intelligence and law enforcement agencies to combat drug trafficking organizations.
