The Ministry of Water Resources issued 7 water industry standards.
Recently, the Ministry of Water Resources issued Announcement No. 1 of 2026, approving the release of 7 water industry standards including the "Technical Regulations for the Preparation of Preliminary Design Documents for Soil and Water Conservation Projects." The related standards will be implemented starting from April 4, 2026. The "Technical Specification for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Monitoring in Water Conservancy" is a newly formulated water industry standard, consisting of 11 chapters and 3 appendices. The main content of this standard includes basic requirements for UAV monitoring, work processes, flight preparation, flight implementation, data processing, quality control, and result submission. It is applicable to activities in the water conservancy industry such as using UAVs for data collection, daily inspections, evidence collection, and emergency monitoring. The implementation of this standard is a significant measure to promote the construction of a digital twin water conservancy system and to advance the integrated monitoring and perception system of "sky, land, and water", playing an important role in regulating and enhancing the application of UAV monitoring in the water conservancy industry.
