The Czech new government passed a vote of confidence in the lower house.

The coalition government led by Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis passed a vote of confidence in the lower house on the 15th. The new Czech government has officially completed the constitutional procedures required for full operation. In the vote that day, Babis' "ANO" party, in coalition with the Freedom and Direct Democracy Party and the "TOP 09" party, won 108 votes of support in the 200-seat Chamber of Deputies. Prior to this, the Czech Chamber of Deputies had several days of debate on this vote of confidence. According to the Czech constitution, the new government of the country must apply for a vote of confidence in the Chamber of Deputies within 30 days of receiving the president's appointment.
