Walmart International CEO Catherine McRae will step down.

Walmart International CEO Catherine McLay will step down. The company said on Thursday that McLay, who is set to serve as CEO from 2023, plans to remain in her position until the end of the month. She will stay on at the company until the end of the first quarter to assist with the transition. The company stated that it plans to appoint a successor soon. McLay has been with Walmart for about ten years and previously served as CEO of Sam's Club. She originally joined Walmart working in the company's US Strategic and Supply Chain division. John Furner will take over as Walmart CEO next month, replacing Doug McMillon.
