On Thursday, the closing price of spot gold in New York fell by 0.24% to $4615.19 per ounce. In the early Asia-Pacific session, it briefly rose slightly before falling multiple times to $4580. COMEX gold futures fell by 0.37% to $4618.40 per ounce, dropping below $4590 multiple times during the session.
