According to the latest market analysis from Omdia, global semiconductor revenue is expected to surpass 1 trillion US dollars in 2026, which will be a historic milestone for the industry. This growth is mainly driven by the rapid increase in revenue from memory and logic integrated circuits, which is in turn fueled by the huge demand in the artificial intelligence market. Omdia has significantly increased its forecast for semiconductor revenue in 2025 to a year-on-year growth of 20.3%, reflecting stronger-than-expected performance in the third quarter of 2025 and an expectation of continued strong growth in the fourth quarter. The revenue growth of DRAM and NAND flash memory integrated circuits will continue to reach unprecedented levels, mainly supported by the strong expansion of logic integrated circuits, with a projected year-on-year growth of 30.7% in 2026.
