The water quality of the Taihu Lake in Wuxi has remained at level III for the second consecutive year.

Recently, reporters learned from the Ecological Environment Bureau of Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province that by 2025, the water quality of the Taihu Lake in Wuxi, Jiangsu will maintain Class III for the second consecutive year. In 2024, after more than 10 years of pollution control, the water quality of Taihu Lake in Wuxi reached Class III for the first time since the systematic monitoring records were established. In that year, the overall water quality of Taihu Lake also reached Class III for the first time throughout the year.
