Maersk's MECL service will resume the cross-Suez Canal route.

Maersk Line announced on January 15th that, as stability in the Red Sea area improves, the company will resume its MECL service through the Suez Canal in order to increase transportation efficiency while ensuring safety. Maersk stated that it will continue to closely monitor the security situation in the Middle East, and any adjustments to the MECL service will depend on the ongoing stability in the Red Sea region and whether conflicts escalate in the area. If the security situation deteriorates, the company has prepared contingency plans.
