According to the Maritime Bureau of the Ministry of Transport, starting today, Chinese seafarer electronic certificates can be used overseas, with the same legal status as traditional paper certificates. The official platform of the Chinese maritime authorities can provide real-time verification of the validity of seafarer electronic certificates, facilitating the employment of seafarers and improving the efficiency of vessel traffic.
