A Citigroup analyst pointed out in a report that WeRide's autonomous taxi fleet may increase to 2,000 to 3,000 vehicles by the end of this year, with the Chinese domestic market accounting for about 50%-60% of the growth. By the end of 2026, the company's overseas fleet could reach 500 to 1,000 vehicles, including over 300 vehicles in Abu Dhabi. Citigroup stated that due to the Lunar New Year holiday in February, the expansion of the company's domestic fleet may begin after the first quarter. The bank cited management's statement that considering the much larger market size in China compared to overseas markets, China will remain the company's strategic focus.
