Citibank: Wenyuan Technology's unmanned taxi fleet may increase to 2,000 to 3,000 vehicles by the end of the year.

According to a Citigroup analyst report, WeRide's unmanned taxi fleet may grow to 2,000 to 3,000 vehicles by the end of this year, with the domestic market contributing approximately 50% to 60% of the increase. These analysts added that by the end of 2026, their overseas unmanned taxi fleet could reach 500 to 1,000 vehicles, including over 300 vehicles in Abu Dhabi. Citigroup stated that the expansion of the company's domestic unmanned taxi fleet may begin after the first quarter, due to the Chinese New Year holiday in February. Citigroup cited management as saying that China will remain a strategic focus for this autonomous driving company, given that the market size accessible in China is much larger than that in overseas markets.
