China Institute of Middle Finger Research: Last year, more than 5500 parcels of land were publicly announced nationwide to be used for storing special bonds.

According to the monitoring of the China Index Academy, as of the end of December 2025, the number of publicly announced special bonds planned to be used to reclaim and repurchase idle land nationwide has exceeded 5500, with a planned reclaimed land area of nearly 3 billion square meters. Many provinces and cities have issued corresponding special bonds totaling over 300 billion yuan.
