Zhejiang Financial Regulatory Bureau: Promote the pilot work of "financial assistance + financial insurance"

On January 14, the Zhejiang Financial Supervision Bureau issued a document stating that the bureau is promoting the pilot work of "financial assistance + financial insurance". It is promoting the local property insurance institutions to work together with relevant departments in Hangzhou to launch a pilot project on "catastrophe insurance + comprehensive chain services for natural disaster prevention and reduction", lasting for three years. During the pilot period, premiums will be jointly funded by the city and county governments in a 1:1 ratio, with annual payment and yearly policy issuance. The insurance amount and liability limit will be dynamically adjusted based on the previous year's actual claims, comprehensive costs, and changes in risk protection to ensure that the mechanism operates scientifically and sustainably.
