Recently, as multiple domestic production areas have concentrated on the market, the prices of strawberries in many places have fallen. A fruit wholesale market operator in Ningbo, Zhejiang, said, "Local strawberries have dropped by 3 to 5 yuan per kilogram compared to last week, with prices around 30 yuan per kilogram last week. Imported strawberries are slightly cheaper, with purchase prices from the production area ranging from 14 to 15 yuan per kilogram." The operator told reporters that the overall warmer temperatures this year accelerated the ripening of strawberries in various regions, leading to a concentrated market release of strawberries. In addition, strawberries from Shandong, Jiangsu, and other places have successively entered the market, further increasing market supply, intensifying competition, and causing prices to significantly decrease.
