Tax authorities exposed two cases of internet celebrities evading taxes. One of the involved internet celebrity has over 30 million followers.

On January 14th, it was learned from the State Administration of Taxation that tax authorities in Chongqing and Gansu have exposed 2 tax evasion cases involving online hosts in recent years. Among them, online hosts Peng Xuanzhi and Yang Suiwa failed to pay individual income tax, value-added tax, and other taxes totaling 2.1632 million yuan and 1.0164 million yuan respectively.
