On January 14th, the China Automotive Technology and Research Center under the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers released the "2025 Urban NOA Autonomous Driving Assistance Research Report". The report shows that from January to November 2025, the cumulative sales of passenger cars equipped with urban NOA function in China reached 3.129 million units, accounting for 15.1% of the total passenger car sales, an increase of 5.6 percentage points compared to the full year of 2024. Furthermore, the sales of mainstream passenger cars with urban NOA models priced below 300,000 yuan accounted for over 68.9%, indicating that urban NOA has gradually shifted from a differentiated configuration of high-end models to a standard feature of mainstream models, entering a period of rapid penetration targeting mainstream consumer groups. At the same time, the breakthrough in technology, implementation in various scenarios, and the collaborative opportunities in the industry for Level 3 and above autonomous driving are receiving attention, which will drive NOA technology to a higher level and further increase the penetration rate of urban NOA.
