Venezuela's national oil company plans to restart oil wells to restore crude oil production capacity.
Journalists from the central newsroom learned on January 13th local time that independent data shows that Venezuela's crude oil production last week fell significantly from the end of November 2025, dropping from 1.16 million barrels per day to about 880,000 barrels per day. According to sources, the Venezuelan national oil company has ordered the restart of oil wells to restore crude oil production. In addition, the company is preparing for an internal audit after suffering a cyber attack, while also preparing for new business and investments.
