The prices of embedded LPDDR4X have increased significantly across the board. The overall memory spot market is mostly cautious in accepting orders, with price negotiation based on individual orders.
Currently, with the exception of a few original manufacturers offering temporary quotes to individual application end customers, the majority of the industry is still in the process of new quarter allocation, and the actual price increases for most products have not been finalized. Original manufacturers continue to control their inventory, with the allocation and pricing of new quarter NAND wafers not yet released, and only a few high-level DRAM resources being available to select storage manufacturers, with most not receiving supply for several months. In the face of continuously increasing prices and unstable supply, storage manufacturers are cautiously accepting orders based on quantity and price. The situation where "flour is more expensive than bread" is unlikely to improve, especially as the market generally expects prices to rise in the future. This week, storage manufacturers have across-the-board increased the prices of LPDDR4X products, and integrated products have followed suit.
