The National Health Commission today introduced the current situation of respiratory infectious disease epidemic in our country. Currently, flu activity in our country has been decreasing for four consecutive weeks, overall at a moderate level. The top three pathogens with positive respiratory samples from flu-like cases in the emergency department of sentinel hospitals are influenza virus, respiratory syncytial virus, and rhinovirus. Analysis based on the national fever clinic treatment situation, emergency department visits for flu-like cases at sentinel hospitals, and multi-pathogen testing results shows that all detected pathogens are known common pathogens, and no unknown pathogens or newly emerging infectious diseases have been found.
