In regards to the $100 million defamation lawsuit brought up by US President Donald Trump, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) told the judge that the documentary at the center of the case, despite having one misleading edit, is still fair. BBC requested on Monday for a federal judge in Miami to pause the exchange of evidence in the case until a ruling is made on the motion to dismiss the lawsuit filed by BBC. The ruling is expected to be made in March. BBC also stated that if the lawsuit is not dismissed, they will seek to move the case from Florida to New York because the documentary was not created, produced, or aired in Florida.
