Sichuan: Building a new model of collaborative acquisition of public welfare satellites and civil-commercial remote sensing satellites

Sichuan Province's "15th Five-Year Plan" Basic Surveying and Mapping Planning seeks public opinions. It mentions coordinating aerial and space remote sensing data. Improve the overall provincial remote sensing image coordination mechanism, build a new model of public welfare satellites and civil-commercial remote sensing satellites working together, jointly establish a low-altitude unmanned aerial vehicle remote sensing network in the province and cities, achieve multi-purpose use of drones, and share and reuse images. At the provincial level, every year, at least 1 satellite remote sensing image with a resolution better than 1 meter and at least 4 satellite remote sensing images with a resolution better than 2 meters covering the provincial domain. At the city and county level, conduct aerial image acquisition with a resolution better than 0.2 meters in key areas such as urban built-up areas, planning areas, and key towns. Promote the acquisition and processing of various types of remote sensing data such as LiDAR, SAR, and hyperspectral images, enrich remote sensing data products. Promote the construction of satellite application technology centers in city and county sub-centers.
