Outbreak of Rift Valley fever in northern Senegal subsides, resulting in 21 deaths.

Sena Bou Endiaye, Director of the Health Bureau of the Saint-Louis Region in northern Senegal, recently stated that since the outbreak of Rift Valley fever in September 2025, a total of 360 confirmed cases have been reported in the region, with 21 deaths. As of the 10th of this month, all outbreak points have been contained, and the epidemic has been effectively controlled.
