Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs: China's scientific use and recycling system of agricultural solid waste is gradually being established.

On January 13, the State Council Information Office held a routine press conference to introduce the relevant situation of the "Comprehensive Action Plan for the Management of Solid Waste" and answer questions from journalists. Yang Ru, the head of the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, stated that currently, the comprehensive utilization rate of livestock and poultry manure in the country has reached 80.1%, the comprehensive utilization rate of straw is stable above 88%, the disposal rate of agricultural film exceeds 85%, the recovery rate of pesticide packaging waste is over 80%, and the scientific use and recycling system of agricultural solid waste is gradually being established. The resource utilization methods are becoming increasingly diverse, and the overall green transformation of agricultural development has taken new steps.
