Ministry of Civil Affairs: will promote the comprehensive pilot of expanding opening up of the national service industry, and accelerate its progress.

The Ministry of Civil Affairs held a special press conference to introduce the relevant situations of the "Measures for Cultivating the Subject of Elderly Care Service Operators and Promoting the Development of Silver Industry". Wang Bo, Deputy Director of the Ministry of Commerce's Department of Trade in Services, said at the meeting that the Ministry of Commerce is actively promoting the national pilot project of expanding the opening up of the service industry, encouraging pilot provinces and cities to explore in relevant areas; and together with the National Development and Reform Commission, revised and released the "Encouraging Foreign Investment Industrial Catalog", including "manufacturing of elderly products and related products" in the encouraged categories. Next, the Ministry of Commerce will accelerate and strengthen the pilot project of expanding the opening up of the service industry, continue to do a good job in promoting and interpreting the new version of the "Encouraging Foreign Investment Industrial Catalog", guide various regions to implement supporting measures, and encourage more foreign investment to enter the elderly care industry.
