Shanghai: Supporting the development of AI short films

The General Office of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government issued the "Several Measures to Promote the High-quality Development of the Service Industry and Boost Consumption Expansion through Linked Development" which mentions supporting high-quality content creation for micro-short dramas. It includes organizing a competition for micro-short drama creators to attract more teams to Shanghai for production, and providing rewards and support for outstanding micro-short drama projects. It also supports the development of AI micro-short dramas, building AI micro-short drama clusters and public service platforms, and improving the work mechanisms of the micro-short drama production service alliance.
