On January 13, the Ministry of Civil Affairs held a special press conference to introduce the relevant situation of "Several Measures on Cultivating Entities for Elderly Care Services and Promoting the Development of Silver Economy." Li Banghua, Director of the Elderly Care Service Department, stated at the meeting that the "Several Measures" propose optimizing the development environment of elderly care services. They aim to create a fair competition environment, establish a standard certification system, carry out monitoring of the implementation of silver-haired products and service standards, assess their effectiveness, crack down on illegal activities such as cheating and abuse of the elderly, regulate law enforcement inspection activities, and effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of the elderly and service entities.
