The US State Department announced on the 12th that it will revoke more than 100,000 non-immigrant visas by 2025, including about 8,000 student visas and 2,500 technical visas. The State Department posted on social media that the students and technical workers whose visas were revoked had criminal records with law enforcement agencies. The State Department stated that it will continue to "expel these rioters to ensure the safety of the United States."
