A German defense company will supply "Lynx" infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine.

On January 12, local time, German company Rheinmetall announced that it will provide more defense equipment to Ukraine. The first batch of five "Lynx" infantry fighting vehicles will be delivered to Ukraine in early 2026, with the order amounting to tens of millions of euros, funded by Germany. According to the announcement from Rheinmetall, the relevant contract was signed in December 2025. These vehicles will be equipped with "Spear" two-person turret, customized according to the specific needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The next step is to purchase more batches, including production in Ukraine.
