Currently, more and more consumers are growing accustomed to asking AI questions before shopping. In response to this trend, on the 11th of a local time, American retail giant Walmart and technology company Google announced a partnership. Walmart will integrate Google's generative AI chatbot Gemini into the shopping process, allowing consumers to discover products, compare prices, and make purchases faster through AI assistants. Recently, Microsoft has also joined the competition, offering users product recommendations and checkout services through AI conversations. A report by McKinsey shows that by 2030, driven by AI tools and the advancement of "intelligent commerce," the potential size of the global retail market is expected to reach between $3 trillion and $5 trillion.
