Contemporary Mingcheng announced that the company was involved in illegal guarantee matters in the early stage. On June 26, 2024, the Development Zone Court dismissed the lawsuit brought by Shanghai Jixun; on August 15, the Wuhan Intermediate Court upheld the original ruling. On June 19, 2025, the Beijing Arbitration Commission accepted the company's arbitration application. Recently, it accepted Shanghai Jixun's counterclaim, requesting confirmation that the "Make-up Commitment Letter" is legal and valid, and that the company pay back the principal of 50.27 million yuan and expected net income, totaling 63.6881 million yuan; if the letter is invalid, the company will compensate for investment losses; and also requested the company to bear 150,000 yuan in lawyer fees and arbitration costs. Seven out of the company's seven illegal guarantees have been substantially resolved, with only two remaining to be resolved.
