FAW has released a new patent for brain-computer interfaces that can enhance the ability to recognize intentions in complex scenarios.
Tianyancha's intellectual property information shows that recently, the patent for the "vehicle control method, system, and vehicle based on bio-physical coupling" applied by China First Automobile Co., Ltd. has been published. The abstract indicates that this application involves vehicle control technology, with methods including: collecting various modalities of the driver's biological signals, which are obtained by the vehicle's brain-machine interface device; identifying the driver's current intentions based on various modalities of biological signals, using a preset digital twin model to sense environmental conditions and predict the driver's intended driving behavior, determining the driver's intended intentions based on the driver's current intentions and driving behavior, and controlling the vehicle based on the driver's intended intentions and environmental conditions. This addresses the relatively limited application scenarios and lack of comprehensive functionality of the combination of brain-machine interface and automobiles, improving driver comfort, enhancing operational efficiency, shortening response times, strengthening intention recognition capabilities in complex scenarios such as high speed, and expanding immersive interactions.
