Hainan Airlines Super Cargo Operation Personnel Project Completed

On January 11th, it was learned from the management bureau of Haikou Jiangdong New Area that the aviation special cargo super operation project located in the Jiangdong New Area Aviation Economic Zone in Haikou has been officially completed. Currently, the project has entered the final acceptance stage, and is concurrently carrying out special construction at the customs designated supervision site. It is reported that the project covers a total area of 114.5 acres, with a total construction area of about 66,000 square meters, including multiple functional areas: a pre-aviation cargo station of approximately 5,500 square meters, a customs designated supervision site of approximately 5,000 square meters, a special cargo distribution center of approximately 13,000 square meters, an exhibition and storage integrated warehouse of approximately 29,000 square meters, a service center of approximately 10,000 square meters, a special transport warehouse of approximately 3,200 square meters, as well as supporting checkpoints, etc. After the project is completed, it will accurately match the high standard requirements of the free trade port for the supervision of aviation ports, and greatly improve customs clearance efficiency through the improvement of customs designated supervision functions. After the project is put into operation, it will form a synergistic effect with the Meilan International Airport, focusing on the "2+2" model to build customs designated supervision sites for two types of inbound meat and fresh seafood, and focusing on creating a distribution center and related warehousing facilities for four types of aviation special cargo - namely large-sized cargo, overweight cargo, special aviation cargo, and cold chain cargo.
