Michael Burry, a prominent investor who has gained attention in recent months for criticizing the artificial intelligence boom, is currently shorting Oracle Corporation. Burry wrote in his Substack column after the close of trading on Friday that he holds put options in Oracle. Generally, when the price of the underlying asset falls, the value of put options will rise. Burry also mentioned that in addition to his options position, he has been directly shorting Oracle's stock for the past six months. As early as November of last year, he had publicly disclosed his bearish positions on artificial intelligence chip manufacturer NVIDIA Corporation and Palantir Technologies Inc.
