Hong Kong stocks closed at midday, with the Hang Seng Index up 0.44% and the Hang Seng Technology Index up 1.04%. The Hong Kong stock technology ETF fell 0.29%, while the Hang Seng Hong Kong Stock Connect ETF rose 0.29%. In terms of sectors, the media sector performed well, while the water services and life science tools sectors had the largest declines. In terms of individual stocks, Baidu Group-SW rose by 6.88%, Aluminum Corporation of China rose by 6.56%, Three Gorges Control rose by 6.21%, and CNOOC rose by 4.17%. Meanwhile, Goldwind Technology fell by 8.16%, Lion Rock Holdings fell by 8.42%, Maifu Shi rose by 10.53%, and Enorsey Technology rose by 9.22%.
