Vui: Serbia's first large-scale drone factory will be operational next spring.

On December 27, Serbian President Vucic announced at the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Ministry of Defense and the new General Staff in the Banjica military camp in Belgrade that Serbia will officially open its first large-scale drone production factory by the end of March 2026 or at the latest in early April. He stated that the factory will primarily produce high-end, technologically advanced drone equipment, further enhancing Serbia's domestic drone manufacturing capabilities. Vucic also mentioned that the Serbian military currently has a certain number of various drones that have performed well in service, and emphasized that the new factory will produce more advanced and technologically sophisticated drone platforms.
